Dancer turn around

I'm currently involved in an animation project, so as lead animator, I had to make some characters sheets and outfits for one of my earlier dancer designs. Outfits are posted bellow! Can you guess the theme?

Editing an old photo

Had a request by my grandfather to edit an old photo of his. I haven't edited an old photo before, so I figured it would be great Photoshop practice. Thank you stamping and healing tool! You have been my greatest allies.

After hours of constant tapping:

By request, I had to edit out the man at the far right of the image. The boy on the far right's shoe was a little challenging. By sampling from the boy's right shoe, it was just a matter of reconstructing a new shoe. It still needs some work. Hopefully I can get back to it and refine it some more. 

I'm a Nerd (D&D character)

Initial drawings for one (yeah, I'm a nerd) of my Dungeon & Dragons characters. It's my little halfling thief. who's a novice, has a taste for danger, and wants to avenge her father (prepare to die).

The Portfolio

It's been a long while, so let's get something academic in here!

This semester I was able to pass the Portfolio review, giving me access to my upper division art classes and making me officially in the art program. I never felt more proud and accomplished! I couldn't have done it without the support and guidance of my professors, classmates, friends, and family. Thanks guys! So without further ado, here are the pages from my portfolio:

That may not have been too informative, so here's some more info about the blog. I'm a beginning animator. I enjoy studying from life. I'm also a character designer, as you can tell from my first post. With this blog I hope to share with you guys my evolving process, ideas, and hopefully my own style. So here's some more monkeys!
